The best of a very good bunch from Arns Winery, the more so for the challenge of the droughty conditions and blistering September heat of the vintage. An exceedingly sexy nose, with powerful, vibrant dark fruit and subtle hints of leather. The mouth is impossibly generous, round and sweet despite massive tannins, full of intense black fruit embellished by clove and cedar, and finishing with great finesse. A triumph.
